Really helpful staff!
The staff, Woojin, is very approachable and really helpful. There was just a small mix-up on the check-out time since we were able to request for late check-out at 9pm which was approved (through the Booking app) but this was not probably relayed to her. Good thing that only one of our rooms got an afternoon booking so she just helped us transfer the things from that room to our other room (since we booked 2 rooms) where we are allowed to stay until 9pm since there's no scheduled booking for the other room anyway. We are so grateful for this. Thank you for going the extra mile for us. We also appreciate the airport transfer arrangement assistance at 80,000won per one-way trip (good for four persons with 2 luggages each). I think people travelling in groups of 4 should get this for convenience purposes if you have many luggages to carry with you.
The towels are too small. But it's okay to just get 2 towels for use per person.

Location.
Location.
When I arrived around 2 pm to leave my bags behind nobody was at the front desk. I called them and they said that they are having lunch and that I can just leave my bags and go since there has never been a theft case. The room is much smaller then expected for two people and it was always humid with the smell that comes along. Opening the windows was no option because of the noise. Third surprise was the clogged toilet. When I told them, they gave me the tools to unclog it myself. No apologies at all. In general the staff tended to ignore people - not even looking up and greeting (that changed towards the end of my 8 nights stay, though). Cleaning was not everyday. According to the policy only once during a 5 nights stay. They have only small towels, so that you always have to ask for more or take a few more yourself at the the front desk. Summarised I would never book it again. Better look for a hotel and pay a little bit more for comfort.

The upside to the location being hard to find was that even...
The upside to the location being hard to find was that even though you're in the middle of the main shopping strip in myeongdong it was away from the major noise of the streets. The room was basic, but very clean and the shower pressure was amazing, hand down the best shower I've had in a hostel/guesthouse. And last but not least, the staff were lovely and very helpful.
The mattresses were very hard, great for some people but definitely not for me. The location was quite hard to find as the signage for the hostel didn't stand out at all against the other signs on the buildings
